These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website and services provided by JC Maritime Services LLC (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing our website, contacting us, or requesting services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Services

JC Maritime Services LLC provides mobile marine, outboard, and related vessel services, including but not limited to diagnostics, maintenance, repairs, installations, performance tuning, and related marine services. All services are provided at the customer’s request.

Estimates and Pricing

  • Estimates are provided as a good-faith approximation and are not guaranteed.

  • Final pricing may vary based on labor time, parts required, vessel condition, accessibility, and unforeseen issues.

  • Labor and materials are billed at current posted rates unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise specified.

Payment Terms

  • We accept cash, check, and approved electronic payment methods.

  • Unpaid balances may result in service refusal, late fees, or collection efforts.

  • Customer is responsible for all costs associated with non-payment, including reasonable collection or legal fees.

Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your vessel, equipment, and service needs

  • Ensure safe and legal access to the vessel and work area

  • Confirm that the vessel is properly insured and seaworthy

  • Remove personal items from work areas prior to service

Assumption of Risk

Marine and mechanical services involve inherent risks. By requesting services, you acknowledge and accept these risks and agree that you are solely responsible for the safe operation of your vessel before, during, and after service.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by South Carolina law:

  • JC Maritime Services LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

  • Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim

  • We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, wear and tear, corrosion, or manufacturer defects

No Warranty

Unless expressly stated in writing:

  • Services are provided “as is” and “as available”

  • We make no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose

  • Parts warranties, if any, are provided solely by the manufacturer

Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled with reasonable notice

  • Same-day cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a service or travel fee

Third-Party Products and Services

We may install or service third-party products, including marine electronics, performance components, or engine tuning systems. We are not responsible for third-party product failures, recalls, or manufacturer limitations.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JC Maritime Services LLC, its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

  • Your vessel’s operation

  • Inaccurate information provided

  • Violation of laws or regulations

  • Use or misuse of serviced equipment

Intellectual Property

All website content, including text, logos, graphics, and images, is the property of JC Maritime Services LLC and may not be copied or used without written permission.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
